Knight Street Children's Centre, Pty Ltd
Knight Street Children’s Centre is committed to providing the children with trustworthy staff in a safe and caring environment.
All staff including the licensee, will be required to undergo a Working With Children Check, in order to meet Children’s Services Regulations 1998.
We recruit and appoint the best qualified person for the available job.
Professional Development
The centre co-ordinator will ensure through adequate resources and training provisions, that the skills, knowledge and professionalism of the staff at the centre is maintained at all times.
The centre appoints a professional development officer, who discusses with the staff their individual goals and needs.
Professional Development needs of the staff is also discussed with thew staff at their Staff Appraisal Interview.
Centre Philosophy
We believe that the role of the children’s program is to meet the individual needs and developmental levels of the children while they are at the centre.
To provide a caring, supportive environment, that reflects individual and cultural diversity for everyone at the centre.
